Kilimanjaro Club
The Kilimanjaro Climb has been a unique fund-raising event for the benefit of GAA’s educational and psychosocial programs. From six to fourteen individuals climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania to earn donations from sponsors recruited by each climber. A life-altering experience, the trip is designed to acquaint the group with Global Alliance for Africa’s unique and integrated approach to providing assistance for children, youth, and communities in East Africa. Participants have had the opportunity to visit Global Alliance programs as well as see Africa from the roof of the world!
University Study and Faculty Immersion Trip
GAA has led study trips with Loyola University Chicago, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Dominican University, Georgetown, DePaul and Northern Illinois University. These trips can be designed to suit a particular subject.
