In partnership with grassroots organizations, we develop programs that address locally identified needs for marginalized communities in Africa’s urban slums and remote rural areas, focusing on breaking barriers to success through education. Our thriving digital learning programs, designed for students and teachers, are helping to close the digital divide in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Morocco. Our libraries in Kenya and Tanzania provide educational resources, including textbooks and access to computers, which would otherwise not be available to students and community residents. The libraries also provide safe spaces for at-risk youth to engage in our therapeutic arts programs.
